“As an investment fund and life insurance advisor, I chose to work with Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network because of its progressive nature as an organization and its access to numerous investment and insurance providers. By helping individuals, families and business owners select from an extensive list of top financial service products and providers they can implement investment and insurance strategies that better suit their own needs, with potentially lower costs and higher returns versus traditional options that involve buying financial products directly from a small number of large, sales-focused financial firms".

 Education and Experience

“Before writing my investment and insurance license exams, I completed my Commerce Degree at the University of British Columbia. The focus of my studies was on investment based courses where I majored in Finance and also received a minor in Economics.”

Social commitments

“Outside of work I enjoy many recreational activities such as fishing, baseball and curling. I am now settled in the North Vancouver area with my family but also continue to visit many friends and family on the Sunshine Coast where I was raised.”

How I distinguish myself

“Before heading to university I began investing for myself and followed the financial industry closely. I noticed that most people including myself, friends and family were not receiving adequate advice or services from their financial institutions. As a result, I realized that there is a huge opportunity to provide that professionalism to people and help them improve their financial plans by showing them ways to lower costs, reduce taxes and increase investment performance by implementing better strategies. My approach with clients is to analyze their individual situations to help determine their own personal investment and insurance requirements. I can then use the extensive network of Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network partners to access the strategies that I believe are best suited to achieving those personal goals and requirements.”
